Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026Jubyr LLC (“Jubyr,” “we,” “us”) is a Philadelphia-based experience design studio. This policy covers jubyr.com, jubyr.tools, and the booking and event tools we run for our venues and clients, including Margolis. It explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you book an event, reserve a table or couch, submit a DJ or performer inquiry, sign up for updates, or create a host/DJ account, we collect what you give us directly:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Event details you submit: date, guest count, performers, cover charge, Instagram handles, and similar booking information
- Account details for host/DJ self-service accounts, including payout and W9 information where applicable
- Anything you send us directly by email or through a contact form
We also use Mailchimp’s connected-site script on some pages to support our email list and forms. It may collect basic browsing information (like page views) the way most email and form tools do. We don’t run separate advertising trackers or sell any data collected this way.
How we use it
- Process, confirm, and manage bookings and reservations
- Send booking-related communications by email, phone, and text, including confirmations, calendar reminders, flyer and RSVP deadline nudges, and day-of coordination
- Run host/DJ self-service accounts: lineup, flyer, and ticket-link submissions, profile completion reminders, and payouts
- Send occasional updates about future Jubyr LLC events, only to people who’ve agreed to be contacted
Text messages (SMS)
We send two different kinds of text message, and they work differently. Full details are on our Messaging Terms page.
- Booking and event messages. If you give us your phone number as part of a booking, reservation, ticket purchase, or host or DJ account, we may text you about that booking — confirmations, calendar reminders, flyer and RSVP deadlines, and day-of coordination. Giving us the number for the booking is what establishes consent for these; there is no separate box to tick. Frequency depends on your booking, and is typically a handful of messages tied to one event.
- Marketing messages. Upcoming events, ticket drops, and lineups. These require a separate, optional checkbox that is never pre-ticked, and you have to tick it yourself. Frequency varies, typically no more than a few messages a month.
Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of booking, buying a ticket, or completing any transaction with us. You can decline and still book exactly as normal, and every form works the same whether the box is ticked or not.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for help; you can opt back in by contacting us directly. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.
How we share information
We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run our booking and communication tools (for example, email delivery, SMS delivery, and calendar scheduling), and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service to us, or when required by law.
Data storage
Information is stored on our own servers and kept only as long as it’s useful for the booking, account, or business record it belongs to.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, unsubscribe from email updates using the link in any email, or opt out of texts by replying STOP. Email ruby@jubyr.com for any of this.
Children
Our sites and tools are not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools and services change. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
